Dear Peopoly Community,
Since launching Moai in 2017, Peopoly has led the way in SLA DIY printing, culminating in the versatile Phenom series. Our current spotlight is on enhancing the Phenom XXL V2 and providing valuable upgrades for existing Phenom models.
Four years post-Phenom's debut, the scarcity of original 12.5" color panels has led us to a crossroads. The market's influx of low-quality, recycled panels doesn't align with our standards. In response, we've developed upgrade kits to transition the original Phenom from color to superior monochrome panels. This shift not only improves resolution but also extends durability. However, to address the mismatch with the original LED array and ensure top-quality printing, our kits include a custom LED array, upgrading your printer to a Phenom Prime. As these panels grow rare, we're offering these kits at a special discount, supporting our committed Phenom users.Check out the Phenom Series upgrade kit below, other upgrades are on the way.👇
We're also diligently working on the upgrade kit for Phenom L. Similar to the original Phenom, this upgrade necessitates a new LED array, which we've successfully completed. However, we've hit a snag with the LCD OEM, who is currently pricing the new 16" 8K monochrome panel quite steeply, at over $500. We understand this is a crucial component, and we're in ongoing negotiations with them to secure a more reasonable price. Your patience and understanding as we work through this are greatly appreciated.
Regarding the future of Phenom and resin printing, we note a troubling trend: an overemphasis on theoretical LCD resolution and a stagnation in exciting resin engineering. To counteract this and the compromise on build integrity for lower prices, we're pausing new Phenom releases. Instead, we're focusing on breakthroughs in printing technology. Our commitment remains strong, as seen in our foray into FDM with Magneto X, a testament to what thorough R&D can achieve.
【Magneto X Status Update】
Our recent update showcased Magneto X's capabilities, printing a bass for a jazz performance—a testament to our progress and innovation. We encourage you to view the follow-up video below.👇
The field testing phase for Magneto X has yielded invaluable insights, driving significant firmware updates. We're eager to share more about these advancements next week.
Additionally, we're excited to introduce the developing Magneto X Wiki — a comprehensive platform used by our field testers to set up and print with Magneto X. This resource provides an extensive setup guide and is a precursor to the arrival of Magneto X. Your feedback on this evolving Wiki is crucial and highly appreciated, as it will continually be enriched with new content.
These are indeed exciting times, but not without their challenges. The surge in production during the Chinese Lunar New Year is a testament to the overwhelming demand and the strain it places on suppliers and logistics.
Your unwavering support and passion for 3D printing are the lifeblood of Peopoly. They fuel our drive for continuous innovation and improvement.
