Your patience and support have been remarkable as we navigate the complexities of delivering the Magneto X. Mark here, and I wanted to update you on our shipping schedule and product enhancements personally.
【Shipping Update】
The field testing phase, crucial for refining the Magneto X, revealed challenges primarily related to shipping damages. Understanding the importance of your experience, we've made a difficult yet necessary decision to incorporate pallets into our shipping strategy, ensuring your printer arrives in impeccable condition. This adjustment means some delay because we need to refit all the packages with pallets, including ones that are on the way to the local warehouse for final delivery. Since we use 3rd third-party forwarder for overseas delivery, we would need to wait until those packages arrive and then find help to put them on pallets. But rest assured, there will be no additional costs for our pre-order customers despite this increase in shipping cost substantially for us. We anticipate the first wave of printers arriving in the 3rd week of February.
【External Reviews】
We are excited to share that select well-known content creators will soon be showcasing Magneto X. While we balance this with our delivery commitments, their insights will help showcase Magneto X and their experience using it. Some content creators are also field testers and are waiting for updated loadcell sensors and enclosures before they can share more details. Expect to see more Magneto X content by the middle of February.
【Software Updates】
Our commitment to enhancing your user experience doesn't stop at hardware. The Magneto X is developed using Klipper firmware version 0.11. We added codes for Klipper to communicate with the loadcell sensor and the linear motors to improve performance. We are working with Kevin from the Klipper team on how to open-source these codes following their standard.
We are also working closely with Softfever to add the Magneto X profile to the upcoming Orca Slicer V2.0. We are still finalizing the profiles before making a pull request. We will also prepare a special portable V1.82 for early adopters and those who want to use Magneto X before the V2.0 releases.
【Magneto X Enclosure】
We're thrilled to preview the production edition of the Magneto enclosure, which is expected to start shipping in mid-March. Here are some of the latest pictures
【Wiki updates】
We are making extensive edits to the Magneto Wiki. The Wiki will transform into a complete user guide and extensive help sections covering topics ranging from calibration to maintenance. The Wiki will have a live search function to help you locate your needs. Also, we've updated the setup guide with comprehensive edits and more illustrative content, ensuring a smoother setup process. 【And one more thing】
We plan to open source the Peopoly Klipper firmware used on Magneto X to the public next week vit GitHub. We have been working with the Klipper team for quite some time now, and as discussed, we uphold the open-source software standard.

Is the Printer at your company or in Oversea Warehouse or ? will it took, 1, 2, 3, 4, … Weeks?

Hi Daniel, thanks for your support. The Magneto X and Enclosure will be split into two packages and sent separately. Usually, the machine will arrive first, or both will arrive at the same time.
