Dear Community,
Since we lifted the embargo, the Magneto X field testers have shared details about the printer on social media and discussion forums. Here is a video from Teach Tech on YouTube sharing his experience with Magneto X and the testing phase:
As we journey through the delivery process of our first batch of printers to overseas warehouses, we wanted to share an important update and extend our sincerest apologies for the delays you've been experiencing. These delays stem from the need to retrofit some printers with updates we've discussed in previous posts.
【Toolhead Board Delay】
As mentioned in the previous blog, we're waiting for the toolhead board with an enhanced loadcell sensor. Chinese New Year caused production delays, and unfortunately, the batch of boards delivered yesterday by the suppliers failed our quality control check due to incorrect components they used, likely due to the rush. We're now remaking these boards with sourcing, production, and QC, which will delay deliveries by an extra four weeks. Before the New Year, we sent ten toolhead PCBs for retrofitting to our overseas warehouse in the US. We will ship updated units shipped in the order in which the pre-orders were received. We expect to begin delivery around the end of March.
We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. Our team is committed to resolving these issues promptly and maintaining open communication. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
【Why the PCB Update Matters】
Improved Accuracy: The updated toolhead board significantly enhances the accuracy of the loadcell sensor, ensuring more precise leveling—crucial for a printer of this size.
Simplified Production: It streamlines the manufacturing process, enhancing production speed.
Future Data Sharing: The new board will facilitate comprehensive data sharing with Klipper, opening avenues for developers to innovate with loadcell sensor data for new features.
【Customs Inquiries】
Additionally, the inclusion of magnets in the linear rails has prompted inquiries from Chinese and American customs officials. We're navigating these discussions diligently to clarify the contents and proceed smoothly.
【Open-Sourcing Klipper Firmware】
In adherence to the GNU V3 software license, we're excited to open-source the Klipper firmware running on Magneto X before product delivery. We've collaborated closely with Kevin from the Klipper team and Softfever from OrcaSlicer throughout this process.

We're deeply grateful for your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenges. Our commitment to delivering a product that meets our high standards—and yours—is unwavering. Thank you for standing with us during this time.
Warm regards,
The Peopoly Team

“I agree that the delays are unfortunate and communication has been bad in the beginning.
However, after seeing printers existing somewhat in the wild, I am in support of any delay in favor Of creating a quality product. The 3D printing hobbyist industry so far has been plagued by rushed products with after-thought prod Uct engineering.
Emerging content of beta testers on YouTube and X cleared up any skepticism I had. I’m looking forward to receive my day 1 preorder. “
Hi Virch,
Thank you for your understanding and support all the time, which is the driving force for us to overcome the challenge. We are also doing a lot of tests, and more content will be launched as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

Rest assured, you have my unwavering support both emotionally and financially :) “

Hi Jason,Thank you for your attention. The printer can be delivered by updating the Toolhead Board. We are working hard to promote it and will updated for everyone. At the same time, more printed content will be released. Thank you for your continuous support and encouragement!

While I appreciate the honesty and effort to get me the best product possible, I would expect some reciprocity or compensation for the continued delays.
You have had my money since the end of September with an initial shipping date of Mid-November. Now end of March. This was no Kickstarter campaign this was me giving my money to a well established company expecting them to be able to accomplish what they said they could do. Not a great way to instill confidence so far when you come back with the standard “We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause…” and “Thank you for your patience and understanding.” just feels like you are talking down to your customers. If you’re truly sorry, prove it. With the potential interest made over 6 months on monies received, surly you can offer everyone a free roll of filament or an additional nozzle.
I just feel like if you really do care about your customers, prove it. The people here are excited about your product and want your company to succeed but every empty “sorry” that comes from your updates make me trust your company less and less.
That being said, I’m in it for the long haul. I’ll let you know how well your machine works in 2025 which is when I’m planning on receiving it. Wrapped in “Sorry’s”.
