Production Update: Progress on Magneto X

【Building the First Units】

We are pleased to update you on the progress of our Magneto X 3D printers. Currently, we are in the process of assembling 10 initial units. While we have encountered a minor delay with some parts, we are happy to report that the overall build is proceeding smoothly.

【Comprehensive Testing】

These initial units are not prototypes; they will be thoroughly vetted to ensure they meet our exacting production standards. Specifically, they will undergo rigorous drop and electrical testing, as well as print testing. This is an essential phase as we aim to finalize the production details, ensuring that each unit you receive is both reliable and high-performing.

【Next Steps】

We anticipate that print testing will commence shortly. This will be a pivotal moment in the production timeline, helping us finalize settings and procedures for mass production.

Weekly Updates】

To keep you informed of our progress and any new developments, we will begin posting weekly updates here on our blog. Your continued support and interest are invaluable to us, and we look forward to bringing you a product that exceeds your expectations.

Thank you for your attention, and stay tuned for more updates on the Magneto X.

“Carlos
This printer impressed me so much that I cancelled my pre-order of the Prusa XL. Despite similar features and build volume, the Magneto X’s closed loop linear motors and stock Klipper won me over. My hope is that an MMU like the Enraged Rabbit Feeder becomes available in the future. Question: will an input shaper be included in the extruder assembly? ORDER PP14288”

Hi Carlos, Thank you for your attention! Yes, the Lancer extrusion component contains the sensors required for input shaping.

nevermind, I just realized you are selling enclosures as well. Brilliant. ( :
What else can I say, this is an extremely promising concept, and it also has an outstanding build volume where we can truly take advantage of Klipper speeds. Looking forward to it.”

Hi Dave, Thank you for your attention, yes, we have enclosures for sale. Semi-clear, smoky-colored acrylic side panels are available to maintain a consistent printing environment for temperature-sensitive materials like ABS, Nylon, PC, and PETG. An optional top cover can also be added to minimize heat loss for materials requiring higher, stable temperatures.

Mark I am very excited by this development. Despite all the negative comments by naysayers on YouTube I believe this printer will be exceptional. You have a great energy and aura about you and how you want to change the game. I am happy to be backing your company and your endeavors. I am ORDER PP14266.”

Hi Seth, Thank you very much for your support. Your backing is invaluable to us. We’ll keep pushing, improving, and, most importantly, keeping you informed every step of the way.

I hope the lack of update is because they are busy with production and testing and quality assurance. Time will tell.

As soon as I saw this printer referenced on another blog and saw you were taking pre-orders, I didn’t even hesitate one minute. I think this looks like an amazing technology and am super excited to see these released into the market. Order PP14476, so I guess I’m behind Seth in line :)
My fingers are crossed to see mine by Christmas, but I totally understand if I don’t see it until next year. I would much rather see fully tested high quality units being shipped then corners being cut and quality compromised to meet an artificial deadline. I’m rooting for you all at Peopoly!

Maybe some additional eyelets on the side of the frame would be helpful.. to make attaching acrylic panels for an enclosure easier. Most people are frightened by anthing DIY but plenty of users would want an anclosed printer.. Convenience options like this make a whole world of difference in terms of sales as well.
Good luck by the way, finally we have something truly revolutionary in the industry!
