Hi Magneto X User Community,
As the holiday season approaches, I wanted to take a moment to share the latest updates on production, new accessories, our exciting developments with Lancer filament, and some of your most frequent questions about build plate heating and leveling.
【Production Status Update】
Our production has been ongoing, but we recently paused to investigate a user-raised concern about build plate flatness post-heating. After a deep dive, we found that the nozzle pressure during bed meshing sometimes led to inaccuracies. By refining the leveling algorithm and recalibrating the load cell, we've significantly improved our bed mesh readings. Implementing these enhancements will cause a slight delay, but the improved leveling accuracy will be well worth the wait.
Here's a snapshot from a recent shipment test to a US location. Despite some side damage incurred during transit, the printer emerged unscathed. Conducting these real-world tests is crucial, as they reveal potential issues we can't replicate in the lab, providing invaluable insights for the delivery stage.
【Accessories, Including Enclosures】
We're slightly behind on the enclosures, with the expected shipment for the panels and top enclosures now around January 15. Rest assured, other accessories are on track and will ship concurrently as we stock our overseas warehouses.
Additionally, we're excited to introduce some new accessories and upgrades - at no extra cost to you:
[Double-Sided PEI/PEO Build Sheet]: Now featuring one side PEI and one side PEO, catering to those who might need prints with a flat bottom. All previous PEI sheet order is automatically upgraded to the Double-Sided PEI/PEO Build Sheet. Get them here.
[0.6 Hardened Steel Nozzle]: Designed to leverage Magneto X's high flow rate to its fullest for quicker prints while be compatible with composite filaments with carbon and glass fibers. Get these nozzles here.【High Flow Rate Test and Filament】
In our continuous drive to enhance flow rates, we've developed Lancer PLA-CF and PETG-CF, which push beyond our initial claims. Magneto X can achieve 60mm^3/s with a long meltzone and standard V6 volcano-hardened steel nozzle with certain filaments. But with Lancer PLA-CF and PETG-CF, we're reaching 70mm^3/s and beyond - and that's without specialized nozzles or additional cooling systems.
Witness the Magneto X in action during a flow rate test with Orca Slicer below
We're also launching a pre-order for Peopoly Lancer PLA-CF and PETG-CF at a special price of $24.99 USD when you order 2 or more kg. Order directly below:

【Build Plate Heating】
With a 400x300mm build plate, Magneto X needs a robust heating solution. Our 1000W AC direct heating module does just that. Check out this quick video below showing how fast the build plate reaches 100°C from room temperature. Spoiler: it's just 7 minutes.Your support for the Magneto X project has been incredible, and I can't thank you enough. We're working tirelessly to get Magneto X ready for production and shipment. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!
Warm regards,
Mark

What happened to the air filter and heater? The lack of updates is starting to get worrisome.”
Hi Sanford, Thanks for your attention. Regarding the development and testing of air filters and heaters, we are currently in the process. Our primary focus is on the impact of active heating on the existing electronic systems, and we are also modifying some circuit designs to accommodate the active heater. We plan to control these accessories with a board named “toolhub”, which will communicate with Klipper via CAN bus.
We are working diligently to ensure seamless integration of the new accessories to enhance the performance and user experience of the Magneto X. We will provide updates as soon as more specific information is available. Thank you again for your interest and patience.

Same here.
Peopoly only responds to the order limit of the filament.

I would prefer to have a double sided PEI build sheet. PEO films do not interest me because they are for low temperature materials and I rarely use PLA or PETG.

“Shakaworld3D
Is there a limit on the amount of filament that can be purchased?”
Hi Shakaworld3D, there is no limit on the order quantity of filament.

Is it possible that you keep my sheet PEI/PEI?
I never use PEO side and they are low heat resistance.
this change is down-grade for me.
