Magneto Linear Motor Kit

Dear Innovators, Makers, and Researchers,

This is Mark from Peopoly. We launched Magneto X printer 10 months ago to bring affordable linear motor to 3D printing. I'm thrilled to announce the step of our Magneto project: the Magneto Linear Motor Kit. This kit addresses a long-standing challenge for users who are able to access high-precision affordable motion system for their creations.

The Problem We're Solving

For years, hobbyists, small businesses, and educational institutions have faced a dilemma: choose between affordable but less precise stepper motors, or opt for incredibly accurate but prohibitively expensive linear motors. This gap has limited innovation and hindered the development of advanced projects. It was not just the linear motors itself was expensive, the control system for linear motor was also specialized and requirement closed source solutions.

Introducing the Magneto Linear Motor Kit

The Magneto Linear Motor Kit bridges this gap, offering linear motor precision at stepper motor prices. It's not just a product; it's a platform for innovation that democratizes high-precision motion control.

Key Innovations

  • Precision Meets Affordability: Achieve 1-micron resolution at a fraction of the cost of traditional linear motors.
  • Inexpensive Control: Our innovative controller interprets standard signals standard motors to drive the linear motors, allowing use with familiar, low-cost board options like Marlin, Klipper, Arduino or GRBL.
  • Easy to Start: Don’t have the programming skills to start? Each kit comes with pre-configured Marlin based board and everything you need to get the linear motor moving.
  • Design Documentation: A wiki full of design files to assist you to build your project around the linear motor
  • Comprehensive Software tool and Stack: A software tool to calibrate linear motor with comprehensive API documentation.

I’m interested in building a precision 3D printer, laser cutter/etcher, or CNC router. Would 2 of these serve well as my X/Y controllers?

I have the Magneto X and really like it, I am interested in in building another 3D Printer using 2 of the Magneto Motor Kits in a Voron Trident. I would prefer to use the smaller motor and shorter rail for this project. Can I get the smaller setup? Thank Your, Ed Kirk
